Every Door Direct Mail design is important as there are size restrictions.

Post cards and letters do not qualify to be mailed using Every Door Direct Mail. Mail piece size must be greater than 10.5" in length OR greater than 6.125" in height. Mail must meet either the minimum height or length size requirement to qualify for EDDM

For example;

Minimum size, using the minimum height requirement is 6.125" x 8.125"

Minimum size, using the minimum length requirement is 3.51" x 10.5"

Maximum size is 12" x 15" which is also the maximum size for a flat

Popular sizes are 6.5 x 9, 8.5 x 11, but so long as the design adheres to either the minimum height OR length requirement, it will qualify for EDDM rates.
